Brianna Canto, Assistant Guide/Teacher

Brianna Canto joined SMS at the beginning of this year, January 2024. She has been working as a professional in the early childhood education field since 2017 and is an EEC Certified teacher for children aged infant-preschool.

Brianna grew up in a home daycare setting from age 3-13, witnessing first-hand the magic of mixed age classrooms. Infant/toddler is the age group she is most passionate about working with, as she believes that 0-3years is a crucial time of development and to be able to support the rapid growth and milestones during these times is amazing to witness.

The Montessori philosophy deeply resonates with Brianna's teaching approach. She believes in a respectful, nurturing environment, children can explore and learn at their own pace while achieving many goals both socially and independently.

In Brianna's free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring the wonder of nature.
