The Sandwich Montessori School Summer Program for ages 0–6 offers hands-on themed experiences designed around creativity, exploration, movement, sensory play, and outdoor discovery. Each session invites young children into playful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences inspired by art, nature, water, building, and imaginative exploration.
Hours & Schedules
Daily programming is offered 8:30 - 2:30, with limited early drop off at 8:00am, and extended day 2:30-4:00.
Montessori-Inspired Environment
Children are given real tools, real materials, and real responsibility within thoughtfully prepared environments.

Families may enroll in 5-day, 3-day, or 2-day programs.
2026 Summer Camp Themes
Creative Arts & Expression
Session 1: June 8 – 18, Closed Friday June 19
Children will explore a variety of artistic mediums and forms of expression in a relaxed, open-ended environment. Emphasis is placed on creativity, process over product, and joyful exploration.
Red, White, and Blue
Session 2: June 22 – July 2, Closed Friday July 3
Children will explore summertime through red, white, and blue art, painting, color mixing, simple science concepts, movement, water play, and outdoor exploration in a joyful and relaxed environment.
Water & Ocean Life
Session 3: July 6 – July 17
This session invites children to explore the wonders of water, from ocean life to simple sensory experiences, through play, movement, and hands-on discovery.
Builders & Inventors
Session 4: July 20 – July 31
This session encourages curiosity and problem-solving as children build, experiment, and explore the world around them using open-ended materials.
Outdoor Adventures
Session 5: Aug 3 - August 14
Children will spend time outdoors exploring nature through exciting playground stations, camping-inspired activities, scavenger hunts, water play, obstacle courses, and collaborative outdoor games.

What ages is this summer program designed for?
The SMS Summer Program is designed for children 0-6 years old.
Are the weeks connected or standalone experiences?
All themed weeks are designed as standalone learning experiences, allowing families to choose individual weeks based on their child’s interests and goals. Children may join any week independently and still have a full, meaningful experience.
