Timea Riina, Education Director/Lead Guide

Teaching has always been a huge part of Timea’s life and she brings 20+ years of teaching experience to Sandwich Montessori. With 20+ years of teaching experience, She was a competitive swimmer growing up and all the way through college, then taught private swim lessons, and was a swim coach for 15 years. 

Timea is Montessori certified for 2.9- 6 year olds by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and she has her Director I/II and Lead Preschool Teacher certification through the Department of Early Education and Care and a member of AMS, NAEYC and MAAEYC..

Timea relocated from the New York/Connecticut area in August 2018, with her husband, David and their dog, Lily. Her husband is a local artist, avid fisherman. They enjoy finding sea glass on the beach and looking for new adventures with Lily. Timea and David live in East Falmouth and have been loving every moment here on Cape Cod.
